Hi! I’m Ignacio. This is my personal blog, where I share thoughts, info, links, photos, and other things I find interesting and thought provoking. Some of the content is about what I do professionally, which is public relations and communications, but I am interested in other things that I share here.

About me:

– I’m married to a beautiful wife and awesome mom, and together we have two precious and crazy girls.

– I am a public relations and communications professional, really passionate about what I do and always eager to learn more and grow, as well as share what I know with others in the profession.

– I work for Shell in the U.S., a really great energy company with a fascinating history, and I lead communications projects that tell the Shell story and build bridges with a variety of external audiences. I love that Shell is very active in the climate change arena and that I get to lend a hand in how leaders in the company engage in this conversation with stakeholders and other audiences, seeking to take action in the way the world tackles greenhouse gas emissions and CO2.

– I play guitar and can sing sort of O.K., and I try to be in a band from time to time. I listen to and play all kinds of music, but there’s something about the blues that makes me want to grab the nearest guitar and play until my fingers hurt.

– I love photography and if you know me you are familiar with my habit of carrying a camera with me most of the time and taking pictures to share with others. Before digital photography, I used to have a dark room where I made black and white photography, and I loved every minute of it.
